Our expert teachers will shepherd participants through this course, leveraging decades of experience leading multicultural worship in many different countries and contexts.
Josh Davis is a pioneer in multicultural worship having founded Proskuneo Ministries in 2001. He is the co-author of Worship Together [in Your Church as in Heaven], a seminal text on multicultural worship that has shaped churches and leaders worldwide and he has taught multicultural worship in dozens of seminaries and universities across the United States and internationally. He is a third-culture person (USA-Dominican Republic) and a neurodivergent (Autistic/ADHD) pastor, and brings those perspectives into his teaching and leadership.
Jaewoo Kim is a passionate advocate for multicultural worship and community building, serving as the Director of Networking and Ministry Development at Proskuneo Ministries. Born in Korea and now residing in the vibrant, diverse community of Clarkston, Georgia, Jaewoo is dedicated to cultivating spaces where people from all backgrounds can encounter Jesus through worship. Jaewoo has taught multicultural worship at Dallas International University, Moody Bible Institute, and Calvin University, and at various conferences. He is also the author of Willingly Uncomfortable Worship, published in Korea in 2021.
Grace Funderburgh serves as the Resource Director at Proskuneo Ministries. With a deep love for collaboration, she has facilitated songwriting projects that bring together people from diverse cultures and languages, creating songs that reflect the beauty of God’s kingdom. Grace has produced countless worship resources to equip the multicultural body of Christ, empowering churches and worship leaders to engage in authentic, diverse worship. She has led multicultural worship in a wide variety of contexts across the globe, guiding communities in experiencing the unity and richness of worship beyond cultural and linguistic barriers. -
